Let's Redecorate The Warren

Did you know that we Rabbits have our own virtual clubhouse? It’s the Association of Graveyard Rabbits Group at Facebook. It’s been under-used and it’s time for that to change! I propose we do a bit of spring cleaning and turn it into a fun place for Rabbits to hang out and get to know each other.

My vision is something between a community center and a sidewalk cafe. Yes, we’ll keep the events calendar and the message wall, but I suggest we install some comfortable chairs and hang new art on the walls to help promote conversation. An expresso machine and wine bar would be nice touches too.

Of course, no place becomes a hangout until people actually . . . hang out there. Maybe a couple of regularly scheduled events - a monthly book club discussion or a weekly coffee break chat - would interest you. The discussion boards can be set up to support both Q&As and on-going conversations on any number of topics and you could stop by whenever it’s convenient for you to add your voice.

A welcome mat for new Rabbits would be very nice to introduce them to the rest of the bury.

Stop by the Graveyard Rabbits Facebook group and get in the conversation. First topic is what kind of hangout should the Rabbits group become - a research library, coffee house, someone’s front porch or something else entirely? What would you like to see or do here? Would you be willing to moderate a discussion or host a live event? Any comments, suggestions, ideas or offers to help would be most welcome.

Help us do a little spring cleaning, redecorating and community building. It will give you an opportunity to get better acquainted with your fellow Rabbits and just maybe build an enjoyable place to hang out.
