Photo Monument - 11/10/11

Photo Monument: A Grave Photo Essay
a set or series of photographs that are intended to tell a story or evoke a series of emotions.
------
In September I took a vacation to Savannah, GA. While there I was able to see several beautiful cemeteries and a few single burials in the town squares. It was just as I imagined it would be. Lovely places with moss draped trees offering shaded rest to those residing there.
There were so many wonderful stones photographed I could not decide on a series to share. Instead I thought I would show you these views from three of my walks:
Bonaventure Cemetery

Colonial Park Cemetery

Laurel Grove Cemetery

------
Gale Wall
Hutchinson, KS
Digital Cemetery Walk
Cemetery walks offer an afternoon of discovery.
Every stone has a story. And they are waiting to be told.
